[FEATURED EXHIBIT] New Display Cases at the Armory

January 9, 2021 By James Mitchell Varnum

At the Varnum Memorial Armory Museum, our new display case is coming along nicely. Most of its contents are related to the First Rhode Island Detached Militia, our state’s first volunteer infantry regiment to fight in the American Civil War.

Please take a virtual tour of our museums to learn more about our mission to encourage patriotism. Museum tours are welcomed and our facilities may be rented for suitable events.

Our Mission
