	Beer is the soul of Apponaug Brewing and creating great beer in our 10BBL (310 gallon) Brewhouse is what we are all about. Our Brewers proudly draw from the rich history of brewing to create fresh takes on classic styles and unique flavors -- all served direct from the tanks. 	Harpoon was started in 1986 by Dan Kenary, Rich Doyle, and George Ligeti. They were three friends who loved beer and loved drinking beer together but found the beer choices at the time to be limited. Traveling through Europe and experiencing the rich traditions of European brewing and beer drinking enhanced their love of beer and opened their eyes to the rich beer culture they wanted back home. They decided to build a brewery so that they could brew the beers that they wanted to drink, and invite their friends to the brewery to drink it with them. 	Our flagship beer, Loose Cannon wins people over at first smell. The carefully cultivated interplay of Simcoe, Palisade, and Centennial creates a most fragrant IPA - its nose bursts with notes of grapefruit, herbs, and pine. Bitterness is somewhat subdued by the floral quality that pervades the taste. The color is burnished gold, and the mouthfeel is creamy. A strong malt backbone balances out the triple-hopped beer. 	LineSider Brewing Company, East Greenwich, RI’s first brewery, opened to the public in November 2018. Our 4,200+ square ft. facility features a large, comfortable tasting room and outdoor courtyard. Equipped with a 10 Barrel Production System, LineSider is capable of producing up to 1,000 barrels of beer annually. Owners Jeremy Ruff and Dan Koppen are just a couple of East Greenwich guys who are making a career out of their love of brewing beer.
