Explore Varnum Armory
The Varnum Armory Museum’s collection of historic Rhode Island military history spans from the 17th Century on through to the present day. The collection is a mix of items purchased by the Varnums or that have been donated or loaned by the public, Varnum members, the RI National Guard, various local police departments, and other historical organizations. It is believed to be the largest collection of Rhode Island militaria in existence. NOTE: All modern firearms on display are deactivated.
