We hosted two chocolate-making demos at Varnum House Museum on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024, and both were completely full! Not surprisingly, everyone loved the demos by The Pewter Pot Fine Spiced Chocolates.
And after the demos, attendees all took museum tours to learn about James Mitchell Varnum and his many contributions as a General during the Revolutionary War, his role in forming the 1st Rhode Island “Black” Regiment, and as a lawyer helping to create the foundational laws of Early America.
Don’t worry! The Varnum House is working on even more demos, open house tours, and other events for the coming months.
